PROJECT MANAGER

As part of Belden's Commercial Operations Team, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the EMEA region. Collaborating with our Solution Sales team and Solution Consultants, you will manage inputs, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline while achieving desired objectives.

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Develop a detailed project plan, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Identify and manage project resources, including procurement of additional resources when required.
  • Build and lead a project team, assigning tasks, setting objectives, and providing guidance to ensure success.
  • Establish proactive communication with stakeholders, including team members, customers, operations, and third-party suppliers.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor changes to ensure project success.
  • Manage budgets, costs, and project margins while maintaining financial viability and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, generate status reports, and evaluate overall success upon project completion.

 

What you will bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience managing complex, turnkey, or milestone-based customer projects in an industrial environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, with expertise in OT/IT networking for vertical markets like power utilities, mass transit, and discrete manufacturing.
  • A professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  • Experience working in medium-to-large international organizations with a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency with project management and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Expertise in turnkey projects involving multiple vendor solutions for industrial applications.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, French, and German, both spoken and written.
  • A team-oriented mindset, respecting roles and responsibilities while working collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA (20-40%) to fulfill role responsibilities.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality assurance measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Ensure effective cash flow management and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct a comprehensive project evaluation upon closure, identifying lessons learned and ensuring a smooth handover.
