QEHS AND FACILITY COORDINATOR

You will make an impact in the following way:

• In your role as QHSE Coordinator, you are responsible for quality, health, safety, and environment at our Belden facility in Olen.
• You ensure compliance with all applicable standards and implement, monitor, and continuously improve the necessary systems.
• You act as the driving force for legal compliance and align the local QHSE systems with those applied across the global Belden group.
• You define, deploy, and follow up on QHSE objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
• You perform internal QHSE audits and take the lead during customer and external audits or visits related to QHSE.
• You coordinate and take ownership of critical customer quality issues and collaborate with project teams to answer customer QHSE requests.
• You report to the Manager of the Site Services Department and, together with your colleague QHSE Officer, cover the complete QHSE domain.

What you will bring:

Master’s degree or equivalent – You hold a relevant higher education degree and bring strong analytical and organizational skills.

Extensive experience – You have at least 10 years of experience in a leading HSE and/or quality role, ideally within an industrial environment.

Language proficiency – You are fluent in Dutch and English, enabling effective communication across teams and stakeholders.

Standards expertise – You have in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; experience with ISO 27001 is a plus.

Strong personal skills – You demonstrate proactivity, leadership, adaptability, and diplomacy, thriving under pressure and inspiring others through clear, confident communication.
