Job Summary:
Belden is seeking a passionate AI Specialist to join our Digital Transformation team. This role will be instrumental in advancing our company#s AI capabilities, focusing on implementing AI services and data solutions that empower innovative and high-value business outcomes. The AI Specialist will work closely with our IT, business teams, and consulting partners to ensure that AI solutions are seamlessly integrated into our operations, driving real business value. This role is ideal for individuals with an academic background in AI and a passion for applying their knowledge to practical AI implementations.
This position is a remotely based opportunity and will report to the AI Solution Manager.
You will make a difference in the following ways:
- Prompt Development & Optimization: Design, test, and optimize AI prompts and scripts to support natural language processing (NLP) models, improving interactionwith AI-driven platforms.
- AI Model Enhancement: Develop, train, and fine-tune AI models, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Data Integration for AI Applications: Partner with data engineering teams to ensure AI applications have seamless access to quality data sources, focusing on integration and data readiness.
- AI-Enabled Solutions Deployment: Implement AI solutions that integrate with existing systems, enabling enhanced automation andprocess improvements.
- Continuous Improvement of AI Services: Monitor AI system performance, making improvements to optimize accuracy, relevance, and efficiency.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with IT, data governance, and business teams to align AI initiatives with enterprise goals and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable value.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain clear documentation of AI development processes and encourage knowledge transfer within the team.
What you bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum one year of hands-on experience with AI or related roles, focused on implementing AI services and data architectures.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Cloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying AI services.
- Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data management and governance principles, particularly as they relate to AI.
- AI Integration: Experience in integrating AI models into business processes and IT systems, with a focus on data and service architecture.
- Ethical AI & Compliance: Awareness of ethical AI considerations and AI governance principles.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
