Job Summary:

PPC, a Belden Brand, is currently seeking a Business Development Engineer. This position will be responsible for working with the sales and product development teams to help guide the product roadmap, identify customer pain, andidentify solutions that can be leveraged to grow market share within the broadband market, with a focus on broadband customers' wireless segments.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing and potential markets to identify and secure business development opportunities.
• Work with NABB Sales team to create a Wireless Solutions funnel and to convert viable prospects to active clients#
• Continued in-depth understanding ofclient#s business, goals, strategies and industry trends and directions, achieved through customer and field engagement
• Identify and develop solutions designed in accordance with customer application requirements, identified pain, achievement of customer KPIs, etc
• Evaluate competitive and alternative offerings to identify differentiators and to create a value wedge for PPC.
• Capture sales and client feedback on what works and doesn't work and use that feedback to continuously improve the base of knowledge.
• Coordinate with Product Management on NPD, product roadmap and addressing customer feedback
• Work with Product and Marketing teams to solidify product core messages and guide the structuring and packaging of core messages into highly compelling client facing presentations and collateral.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ Years experience in telecommunication/cable
• Knowledge of fixed wireless, wifi 5G architecture
• Knowledge of outside plant
• Independent thinker
• Sales experience preferred
• Experience with network architecture, capable of laying out architecture at the physical layer
