Director Product Line Management

You will make an impact in the following way:
- Lead the strategic direction and growth of Belden’s wireless product portfolio, ensuring differentiation, innovation, and customer value
- Drive cross-functional product execution across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations—ensuring quality, timely delivery, and commercial success
- Define and execute a compelling product roadmap based on deep market insight, technology trends (Wi-Fi, 5G, FRMCS), and customer needs
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from go-to-market planning and launch to EOL transitions, ensuring organic growth and customer migration
- Serve as the central orchestrator across the business—connecting R&D, sales, pricing, marketing, legal, and operations to drive alignment and execution
- Foster collaboration and interoperability across product categories to create end-to-end solutions that support Belden’s transformation from product to solution provider
- Lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team of product managers with clear accountability, strategic clarity, and growth mindset
- Champion the wireless business internally and externally—acting as the voice, advocate, and driver of long-term success
What you will bring:
- Education – Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Experience – 10+ years in product management, including 3–5 years in a leadership role, proven success launching and growing complex hardware/software product lines, demonstrated ability to lead without authority across functions and regions, experience driving full lifecycle strategies including pricing, GTM, EOL, and financial performance
- Industry Knowledge – Deep understanding of wireless networking in industrial verticals (e.g., manufacturing, energy, transportation), familiarity with technologies such as embedded systems, Wi-Fi, 5G, and industrial IoT as well as interoperability and solution building
- Personality – Visionary mind with sharp market insight and a bias for action, strong communicator, team builder, and influencer with high emotional intelligence, data-driven decision-maker who thrives in ambiguity and makes progress with imperfect information, high integrity, inclusive leadership style, and a strong eye for developing talent
- Willingness to travel – Up to 50%, including international
- Language proficiency – Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
