Job Summary:
The Enhanced Solution Delivery(ESD) Project Manager will build plans for cross-functional workstream execution to bring our Solutions Transformation to life. This will include identifying critical workstreams that are needed to work in sync to allow build our Solutions Selling capabilities as an organization. A few examples include identifying product gaps in our solutions and building a plan for gap closure, go-to-market readiness to sell solutions, go-to-market strategy in priority markets, partner strategy to be able to reach commercial scale, back-office processes to support solution sales, services to execute and implement solutions, etc. Our preference would be to have this position based in our Chicago office, but we are open to remotely located candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leaders with the information needed to assess which proposals have the highest potential value, impact and strategic alignment
- Interface with executives to define project priorities and implementation opportunities and challenges,and keep them up to date with project risks and opportunities
- Cultivate effective processes with critical business functions to ensure agility, speedy issue resolution and coordination of activities
- Lead core team activities, ensure all workstreams are on track and oversee the delegation of work to the respective stakeholders
- Manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed
- Oversee Action plans for the delivery of projects/programs on time that are critical for Solutions Selling Transformation success
- Prepare leadership meeting presentations to keep the leadership team updated on the progress we are making with Strategic Initiatives
- Integrate Solution Sales transformation as a key strategic initiative in Strategic Planning process and bring synergies between other initiatives
- Manage investment for developing Solutions capabilities and/or identify budget requirements for project execution
- Manage and influence all other initiatives which are critical to the success of Enhanced Solutions Delivery
- Internal communication to enforce change management including continuous communications through launch events, sales kickoff meetings, regional and functional milestone updates, webinars, trainings, etc.
- Go-to-market strategy for Solutions Delivery with Consultants, Integrators and Distributors
- Ecosystem partnerships to create a full solution stack delivery capability
- Sales Enablement standard processes to build capability and provide assets and tools for Solutions Account Managers to be successful
- Marketing resources deployment including Account Based Marketing, Vertical specific content development, solution launches, etc.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business or STEM degree. MBA preferred
- At least 5 years of experience focused on large scale, high value strategic growth projects and initiatives in operations, finance/accounting, or go-to-market
- Knowledge of a variety of sales fundamentals including funnel management, account planning, proposition development, and negotiation
- Experience with Lean tools preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, metric-driven environment
- Ability to drive progress by influence without authority
- Strong problem solving analytical skills
- Strong communication and Growth mindset & resilience
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $122,000.00 - 183,000.00 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
