Job Summary
As member of Belden’s Technical Solutions & Services Team, the Network Solution Consultant (NSC) is responsible for developing Network Solutions enabling Data Orchestration and Management (DOM) in Healthcare Environments. Solutions are developed from Belden’s extensive portfolio of switching, routing, management and cybersecurity products. The NSC will reference work done by Belden’s Solution Sales Managers and Digital Automation Consultants, as well as data obtained in Network Assessments to define Customer Challenges and IT / OT Network Requirements. The NSC leads the solution development with the client, seeking acceptance of the design and expected operational or financial impact to their business. Upon customer acceptance of design and value of the solution, the NSC leads the Proof-of-Concept within Belden’s Customer Innovation Center Validation Labs (CIC). The NSC is responsible for advising Commercial Operations and PMO Teams on their Scope and Design, and successful handoff to Belden’s execution functions. The solution consultant is a technical partner to other business functions, providing insights on Customer Trends, Product or Capability Gaps, and Successful Customer Outcomes. The solution consultant relies on technical competencies first and utilizes vertical specific experience to acknowledge and solve vertical specific challenges. Successful candidates will facilitate collaboration, teamwork, and communication, acting as the pivot point among the internal and external participants of a project opportunity.
You will make an impact in the follow ways:
- Navigate Customer Challenges and Build Solutions that enable successful customer outcomes
- Define and Develop Network Equipment Requirements, Originate Designs, Build BOM, SLD & Logical Network Hierarchy
- Lead and manage the development of solutions that utilize a OneBelden approach; Incorporate third party or eco-partner products as required and necessary
- Define scope of services (Belden Provided or 3rd Party) for customer applications in collaboration with the TSS
- Partner with TSS counterparts to translate customer requirements and problem statements into compelling technical solutions with demonstrable financial value impact
- Collaborate with Customer Innovation Center Solution Support team to conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts)
- Provide successful transition from Design Acceptance / POC to Execution Phase with Commercial Operations and Project Management Office Functions
- Actively support technology campaigns such as webinars, shows, trade fairs, etc. where NSC’s Network Design Expertise helps accelerate customer acceptance of Belden as a Solution Provider for Network and Data solutions
- Provide technical content for to marketing for inclusion in marketing materials, and collaterals and solutions guides,
- Provide supporting documentation for application notes, “how to” videos, quick start guides, or cases studies
- Maintain customer reporting, designs and other artifacts using prescribed tools and systems
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience Designing, Implementing, Maintaining and / or Managing Network Equipment in Layer 2, 3 for Wired and Wireless Networks; Experience commissioning or Integrating Systems or Software delivering Data Orchestration or Protection (i.e. ZTNA, NAC, Cybersecurity)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering with a focus on Networking and Ethernet based communications
- Proven track record within a Network Architecture or Development role in Healthcare Environments Market
- Network Credentials similar to CCNA, CCIE, JCNIA, ECS or similar from Network Equipment Manufacturers
- Experience with Ethernet Protocol, and Language Models deployed in Healthcare Environments
- Experience in Cloud, Edge and Hybrid Connectivity preferred
- Previous experience in OT Networks addressing Healthcare Environmental Regulation is preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to perform the duties of the role (50% + frequency of travel)

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $120,000 to $150,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
