Job Summary
As a Product Manager, Platform GTM, you will be responsible for leading and executing the Go-to-Market strategy for Belden Horizon platform our cutting-edge OT network and data platform.
This role is instrumental in shaping how the platform is positioned in the market, how it’s presented to customers, and how our commercial teams are equipped to sell it effectively. You’ll be the go-to expert on platform messaging, sales tools, competitive differentiation, and customer value articulation. As part of the Product Management team, you will collaborate closely with corporate marketing, sales and services teams.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in industrial automation, operational technology (OT), industrial networking and is adept at creating strategic messaging, craft marketing campaigns, building sales tools, and evangelizing the platform with analysts and industry influencers.
What you will do
1. Strategic Messaging & Positioning - Develop differentiated positioning for the platform and its key capabilities. Tailor messaging for different buyer personas across industries, use cases, and stages of digital maturity. Ensure message consistency across internal and external touchpoints.
2. Sales Enablement - Train the sales team on platform capabilities and its value proposition Provide pre-sales support for select, strategic opportunities Support proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot programs, ensuring customers experience a smooth onboarding and validation process
3. Commercialization Strategy & Licensing - Define and execute the platform commercialization strategy, including pricing models, licensing frameworks, and revenue streams. Develop and refine licensing models (subscription-based, usage-based, enterprise agreements) to drive monetization of platform capabilities. Partner with legal, finance, and sales to ensure compliance with licensing terms and maximize revenue opportunities.
4. Content Development - Create compelling sales and marketing content including: Sales playbooks & guides Competitive battlecards Customer pitch decks Platform brochures & flyers Videos & web content
5. Customer & Market Intelligence - Conduct competitive analysis and keep updated competitor positioning, pricing, and go-to-market moves. Lead win/loss analyses, voice-of-customer initiatives and feedback sessions. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and sales teams.
6. Analyst & Industry Evangelism - Serve as a spokesperson for the platform in analyst briefings, industry events, and customer webinars. Craft briefing decks and support thought leadership initiatives with product and leadership teams. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers and analysts.
What you will bring
- 7-10 years of experience in product management and marketing for B2B technology solutions, ideally in:

- Industrial Automation / Operational Technology (OT)
- Industrial Software / Industrial IoT Platforms
- Networking Infrastructure and Management
- Proven experience in developing and executing GTM strategies for software or platform products.
- Strong track record of creating sales collateral, enablement tools, and marketing content.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Services teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to internal execs and external stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400 - $152,100, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
