Job Summary:
Belden’s Resource Manager oversees how pre-sales and professional services resources are allocated across projects, ensuring the right people are in the right place to meet customer needs. Reporting to the Solution Enablement Lead, you will utilize Resource Management standards, processes, methodologies and systems to plan staffing, manage capacity, and resolve allocation challenges. By partnering with our Solutions Sales and Technical Solutions & Services teams, you will play a strategic role in driving resource utilization, aligning skills with future demand, and supporting profitable growth.
Responsibilities

Forecast demand and manage resource capacity by aligning the right skills and people to the right opportunities across the Technical Solutions & Services team—ensuring customer commitments and SLAs are met.

Analyze sales pipeline trends to anticipate future resource needs and guide workforce planning—providing insight to help leadership acquire, develop, and deploy the right talent at the right time, location, and cost.

Escalate gaps in availability or capability and serve as the key contact for resolving resource allocation issues.

Generate and interpret staffing reports in Salesforce to track utilization, workload, segmentation planning, and alignment of resources to key accounts.

Execute Resource Management standards, processes and methodologies in a consistent manner for project coordination activities.
Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, understanding of technical delivery roles and project staffing is a plus.

5+ years of experience in resource management, ideally within technical or professional services, along with knowledge of project disciplines.

Proficiency utilizing analytical and reporting skills using various systems and tools such as Salesforce or other CRMs, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving abilities; comfortable working across sales and technical teams to evaluate financial impact of staffing alternatives.

Proven success performing in a role leveraging and utilizing technology applications to manage talent resources.

Demonstrated success in forecasting staffing demand, tracking resource needs from proposal to sold status, and translating data into actionable plans to address availability, utilization, and unfulfilled demand.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $80,000 to $120,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
