As part of Belden’s Sales organization and within the Customer Innovation Center teams, lead and execute the technical strategy and initiatives defined with the regional Eastern Europe Sales teams in charge of the Transportation and PT&D Verticals. Starting from lead nurturing, the Solution Consultant is a technical partner of Solution Sales during the sales cycle and supports regional organic growth by converting customers’ ideas and visions into customized One Belden connectivity solutions.

You will make an impact in the following way:

 

  • Drive Belden pipeline growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome-based connectivity solutions to Customers managed by Solutions Sales colleagues
  • Provide the Technical Leadership influence in all assigned Accounts and critical or complex projects
  • Construct business value impact around business outcomes, building credibility and sponsorship by using Account's terminology and KPIs
  • Assist the Sales team in the design of high value RFI/RFQ answers for complex and critical infrastructure projects (Railway, Power Generation, Substations...)
  • Lead development of solutions that utilize capability of all Belden brands and broad products catalog.
  • Collaborate with CIC Solution Support and Services team in development/execution of PoCs, FATs, and network audits
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key networking technologies and market trends, and Competitors’ solutions
  • Provide future-based technical insights to enable project wins and customer loyalty
  • Design and support technology campaigns such as Webinars, Roadshows, Trade fairs
  • Represent customer’s voice in Business Unit strategy and new product introduction processes
  • Provide Market Insight to Sales, Product Management and R&D to support definition of customer and vertical market propositions
  • Capitalize and share knowledge by documenting remarkable Solutions concepts and approaches.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in solution creation in Industrial and/or Enterprise environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on IT/OT, Telecommunication or Networking
  • Master’s Degree preferred, or a track record in a professional career with significant technical accountability
  • Experience of working within a medium to large sized international organization with a matrix environment
  • Proven track record within a sales and service role in a market and industry relevant to the Belden organization
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, including Sales, Marketing and Product Development
  • Experience in IP/MPLS or MPLS-TP technologies is a plus

 

Abilities

  • Ability to create CVP‘s (Customer Viable Product) with multi-product solutions and technologies
  • Must have both the technical, operational and commercial affinity to operate credibly within the Accounts or Vertical allocated
  • Demonstrate the ability to translate complex, technical information into comprehensible conversation with a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and Competitors’ solutions
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to work within a metric driven environment
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and pressured work environment
  • Demonstrate a pro-active, flexible and pragmatic approach

 

Essentials

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to perform the duties of the role (up to 50%+ frequency of travel)
  • Computer literacy essential – including experience of using CRM system tools e.g. SFDC
  • English fluency to business standard essential
