Job Summary:

The Senior Data Warehouse Business Analyst analyzes complex business requirements and translates them into advanced technical specifications for data warehouse solutions. This role involves leading projects, mentoring junior analysts, working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, designing sophisticated data models, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements for data warehouse projects.
• Develop and maintain advanced data models, including logical and physical models.
• Collaborate with data architects and developers todesign and implement complex data warehouse solutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse processes, data models, and data flows.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate data warehouse solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data warehouse tools and reports.
• Mentor and guide junior data warehouse analysts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
• Moderat+ SQL skills with 5+years of job experience using database management systems.
• Proficiency in advanced data modeling tools and techniques with 3+ years of job experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Professional experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Professional experience with cloud-based data platforms such as SAP Datasphere
• Professional experience with programming languages such as Python or R a plus.
• Professional experience with ETL tools such as Syniti or SAP Data Services a strong plus.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $82,000 to $120,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
