Position Summary
Belden is seeking an Application Services Leader – Innovation to join our Information Technology organization. This role is responsible for the design, construction, and delivery of business applications in support of Belden’s innovation functions. The leader will also oversee problem resolution for escalated support incidents and play a pivotal role in enabling innovation across the business through reliable, scalable, and cutting-edge application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud and on prem application solutions that enable innovation across Belden’s business functions.
- Partner with stakeholders across the Digital Organization to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-value solutions.
- Ensure timely resolution of support incidents escalated by the Service Desk, maintaining operational excellence and business continuity.
- Oversee application lifecycle management including strategy, design, construction, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Drive standardization, scalability, and integration of business applications across Belden’s global environment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively recommend solutions that support innovation and competitive advantage.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to the application services team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within IT and across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise applications.
- Proven track record in application design, development, and deployment in a complex global business environment.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, ITIL practices, and innovation-driven solution delivery.
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $152,500 to $230,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
