Operations/Supply Chain Intern

Belden’s Operations Internship offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over the course of twelve weeks, you will gain hands-on experience creating real business solutions while also developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge.

 

As a member of our 2025 Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed with a global team of Operations experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves personally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You’ll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders. We offer opportunities to work in our offices in Richmond IN, Indianapolis IN, Washington PA, Syracuse NY, Shawnee KS, and Cornelius NC.

 

How you can add value within the Operations function:

  • Conduct internal evaluation of supply chain processes and procedures and work to identify areas or methods for continued improvement
  • Communicate with existing or potential vendors to identify areas of opportunity
  • Review and complete plant manufacturing processes and assist in development of standardized processes or improved systems
  • Support various manufacturing development trials with our engineering teams

  • Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field of study, and have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework

Belden offers company-paid housing for the duration of the internship, reimbursement for travel costs associated with relocating to Belden from the university at the start of the internship, and from Belden to the university at the end of the internship, and a work culture which includes commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability.

 

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $23-28/hour and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
