Launch is an innovative, cohort-based professional development program designed to help high achieving college grads jump start their careers. When you belong to Belden’s Launch Program, you’ll be part of a team participating in real-world, challenging, interactive, and action-based learning curriculum, developing your skills on the job. You’ll earn valuable experience over three 12-month rotations through different areas of the company. 

 

As a member of our Launch Program Class of 2028, you’ll be fully immersed with a global team of Operations and Supply Chain experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You’ll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates from the inside and develop functional and leadership skills that will set a solid foundation for the rest of your career. We offer opportunities to work in multiple locations, including Richmond IN, Indianapolis IN, Shawnee KS, and Syracuse, NY.

 

Potential rotations could include:

 

Operations

  • Engage with and visit customers
  • Analyze testing procedures, machine capabilities, and material flow
  • Work with manufacturing process and equipment

 

Supply Chain

  • Work with all modes of transportation, production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and warehousing
  • Develop make vs. buy decisions
  • Identify and implement productivity improvements

 

Managerial Experience

  • Manage direct reports
  • Handle inventory transactions
  • Own daily management of Lean manufacturing

  • Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Experience – you have previously completed two relevant internships or have two years of relevant work experience

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $71,000-80,000 and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
