Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for demand creation in order to secure sufficient sales volume to meet or exceed established sales budgets as specified in our annual sales plan in China. He / She will lead the team to develop business within the Discrete Automation verticals and will be promoting the complete set of Belden product portfolio at the end use customer.


You will make an impact in the following way:

- Continuously seek out, improve, and communicate market information about customers, competitors, end users and channel partners in country.

- Steer the development and implementation of strategic sales & marketing plans to achieve growth in China. Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the sales volume.

- Maintain visibility and credibility with key distributors and customers by developing long term relationships.

- Quantify, prioritize and develop new accounts in China, driving market penetration, new business growth and share of wallet.

- Manage existing account relationships in the market(s). Identify opportunities to grow revenue in existing accounts. Maximise share of wallet and customer satisfaction through deployment of robust Account Plans.

- Create and build value-addingrelationships with key influencers and decision makers within Target Accounts. Identify opportunities and stimulate initiatives to strengthen the relationship with key influencers and decision makers.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting as required by the business. This will include reporting on funnel opportunity management, revenue forecasts, Account Plans, progress on initiatives and status of relationships.


Required Skills and Experience

Education - B.S. in Engineering or other technical discipline preferred. Will accept Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree also preferred.

Markets - Over 10 years S&M experience with a minimum of 5 years managing sales team over 10 persons in project sales.

We play to win - Ability to manage time and resource effectively, managing multiple activities successfully. Experience of managing accounts in a structured methodology including account plan reviews.
