As the Director, Strategy & Value Realization, you will be responsible for orchestrating Belden’s strategy lifecycle – from strategic planning through execution to value realization.  In partnership with leaders across the globe, you will ensure our strategic priorities are translated into actionable insights, managed with discipline, and measured for impact, enabling Belden to deliver its transformation aspirations.  This role reports to the VP, Strategy & Transformation. 

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Strategy Planning:  Lead annual strategy planning process with 3-year rolling outlook, including executive alignment, planning meetings, materials coordination, and messaging. 
• Measurement Approach:  As part of annual strategy planning cycle, align on critical metrics that will be tracked to measure progress YoY, as well as return on investment.
• Strategy Management & Execution Oversight:  Maintain a comprehensive view across Belden’s strategic priorities and ensure proper governance and prioritization.    
• Value Realization:  As strategy is executed, monitor metrics and progress vs. targets, identify adjustments needed and progress towards strategic plan outcomes.
• Executive Reporting & Insights:  Deliver executive-level reporting on strategy execution status, risks, and performance.  Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize execution and improve ROI. 
• Strategy Education:  Partner with Internal Communications to promote Belden’s strategy and educate employees on our priorities and status of transformation.

• Analytical Rigor & Insight Orientation:  Uses data and insights to guide decisions, uncover risks and assess performance. 
• Clear Communicator:  Skilled in proactive, clear, and concise communication to audiences at a variety of organizational levels.  Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, easily understandable ways. 

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $150,000 - $230,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
