In this role you will operate as the Finance business partner to the Plant Manager and Finance Director, EA, providing timely, accurate and manufacturing focused finance support. In return we offer a salary ranging from £35-£45K depending on levels of experience, a discretionary bonus scheme as well as 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). The role reports to the Finance Director, EA and is located at our UK manufacturing plant in Parham, Suffolk so your own transport is required and there is parking on site.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Successfully operate as the primary contact person for cost analysis and creation of the manufacturing budget and costing.
- Be responsible for; Operational Reporting - Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly, Inventory - Analysis, Cycle Counting, Physical Inventory, E&O Management, Fixed Assets as well as first contact for creating, maintaining & analyzing Costing.
- Driving Cost reduction and Productivity initiatives, with responsibility to track and validate monthly cost savings for the plant.
- Build close working relationships with defined internal customers to ensure solid understanding of their business and their needs for financial support.
- Manage and deliver continuous improvement of processes and IT systems in line with the European business strategy and Key Performance Indicators.
What you will bring:
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent or a professionally qualified accountant (ideally CIMA)
- The ability to operate successfully in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate past experience
- Highly numerate, ability to analyse financial data and provide appropriate commentary with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of SAP
- Business level English
