The Warehouse Operator is responsible for assisting and supporting warehouse operations.  You will work within a multi-functional team assisting with stock for the production lines, the efficient distribution of the goods/supply chain processes: receiving, quality checks, stocking shelves, packing, wrapping, sort and timely distribution to meet customer requirements, and maintain secure and safe working practices.  In return we offer a salary ranging from £26K depending on levels of experience, a discretionary bonus scheme as well as 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is located at our UK manufacturing plant in Parham, Suffolk so your own transport is required and there is parking on site.  The working week is full time: 40 hrs per week, 8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch break (unpaid).


You will make an impact in the following way:

•    Loading and unloading trailers/vehicles 
•    Operating within a variety of functions within the warehouse and yard area
•    Wrap and Strap tasks
•    Manual Handling and heavy lifting - good stamina and great strength is essential.
•    Feeding fast moving production lines efficiently, following instructions, processes and guidelines in place
•    Operating a variety of manual handling equipment


What you will bring:

•    Previous experience in a Production / Manufacture / Factory environment
•    Counterbalance / flexi licence
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Team-player, willing to respond professionally, enthusiastically and positively to all requests, be able to use own initiative with a positive attitude
•    Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
•    The ability to work without direct supervision
•    A good level of Maths and English is important
•    You must hold a current drivers licence and have access to a vehicle due to office rural location
