The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent and consistent communication to both internal and external customers on a day to day business activities and requests generated with regards to customer service of Precision Optical Transceivers and PPC’s products. The key challenges of the position will be to develop and maintain a highly skilled level of product knowledge, sales policies, and familiarity with company procedures to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
In return we offer a salary from around £30K depending on levels of experience, a discretionary bonus scheme as well as 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). The role reports to the Customer Service & SIOP Supervisor and is located at our UK site in Swindon.
You will make an impact in the following way :
• Respond in a timely manner to all customer request/enquiries
• Enter, monitor, maintain and follow through to completion, quotes and orders to customers
• Support Sales Management in customer support related activities
• Recommending products or services and alternatives to meet customer needs
• Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of current sales and marketing policies, objectives, programs, promotions, terms and conditions of sale
What you will bring :
• Proven track record of working in a Customer Services/Customer Care/Inside Sales role in a commercial B2B environment
• Demonstrate system knowledge and operating experience within a Customer services/ Customer Care/Inside/Sales environment using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) as well as Salesforce and SAP Knowledge
• Knowledge of Telco Networks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills being fluent in English, other languages would be an advantage
• Team-player, willing to respond professionally, enthusiastically and positively to all requests
• Strong attention to detail
