You’ll have a chance to work on at least one independent project while gaining valuable exposure to a broad range of topics in Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This includes an in-depth look at Belden’s M&A process, collaboration with investment banks and third-party advisors, as well as insights into Belden’s Strategic Plan and our product and solutions strategy. The internship can also be combined with thesis work, if applicable. The internship will begin in September 2025 and will run for a minimum of six months. Please note that enrollment at a university is required for the entire duration of the internship.
You will make an impact in the following way:
• Reviewing the long list of companies in our M&A funnel to create a short list of potential M&A targets
• Support the M&A team in the creation of training materials about internal M&A processes and the usage of various tools
• Review the current tools portfolio that we use and benchmark against the best in the market
• Actively contributing to the Due Diligence of potential acquisitions and Integration activities of already acquired companies
• Support in financial valuations of potential targets for an acquisition
• Gain data from the real use cases to use in your thesis.
What you will bring:
• You are a current student of Finance, Strategy, Investment, and Economics.
• You have first practical experience through study projects or internships
• You are confident in handling MS-Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• You are independent, flexible, and like to work with other people
• You are a talent in organizing and are proactive
• You are fluent in English; further languages are advantageous.
